Smart Views allow instructors to view Grade Columns based on a variety of student criteria. This enables instructors to create certain views of the Grade Center to quickly track Students, based on performance criteria for gradable items such as Assignments or Assessments. The Performance Smart Views allows an instructor to select students based on performance.

Creating a Performance Smart View
To create a Performance Smart View, follow these steps:

1. Move the cursor over the Manage menu button.
2. Click Smart Views.
3. Click Create Smart View.
4. Under the Smart View Information section, enter a Name for the Smart View.
5. OPTIONAL: Enter a Description Name for the Smart View.
6. Under the Selection Criteria section, select Performance as the Type of View.
7. For Select Criteria, select the User Criteria, Condition and the Value (points based).
8. For Filter Results, select the Columns to Display in Results.
9. Click Submit to save.
10. Click OK to return to the Grade Center.
