Why can't I find my course in Blackboard?

There are a few reasons why you may not see your course listed in Blackboard.  By default classes that are not available for students to access will have the word "Unavailable"  located to the left of the course name (for faculty the word will read "Enable"). Students cannot access the course until the instructor makes the course 'Available'.  A few other reasons could be:
  • You registered within the past 24 hours and your enrollment has not been sent to Blackboard yet.
  • You accidentally hid the course from appearing on your My Course list.
  • Your instructor is not using Blackboard for this course at this time.
  • Your instructor is using Blackboard but has not yet enabled the course for student access (i.e., has not made it 'Available').
If your course has the word Unavailable to the left of the course name, please ask your instructor if they are using Blackboard for your class.

For further help accessing Blackboard or advice on using the system, see Knowledgebase article #93.
