If you have an Apple iPhone or iPod touch with iPhone OS 2 you can set it up to synchronize to Wayne Connect using Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
The C&IT Help Desk does advise iPhone users to upgrade their devices (for free) to iPhone OS 3 (the update is not free for iPod touch users).
Any existing contacts or calendar entries on your mobile device will be overwritten. It may take an extended period of time to download the desired data from Wayne Connect and, therefore, may not be immediately accessible from your mobile device.
NOTE: Be forewarned that if you are an iPhone user transferring a lot of data on AT&T’s network (this advisory does not apply to iPod touch users or for data transferred on a WiFi network, such as WSU, WSU-SECURE or a network you have set up at home) they may require you to move to the Business Data Plan. We have seen no evidence of them asking any iPhone user to do so, but we want our users to be aware of the possibility.
