When sending large files in Outlook does not work due to file size limitations, please follow the below steps for our customers.

Resolution

Point customer to: https://w3.med.wayne.edu/somfits/

This system operates in one of two modes:

Authenticated School of Medicine Users

Users that are part of the School of Medicine community may authenticate to this system and use its services to send files to users within the School of Medicine community, as well as outside the School of Medicine.

Guest Users

Guests to this system may send files to recipients that have a .med.wayne.edu email address and are part of the School of Medicine community. In either case files transferred have a maximum size of 100MB, and are automatically deleted from our server after seven days regardless if the file has been downloaded or not.
