This procedure assumes you are attempting to print your report from within ReportNet.
For maximum control over the printing of the report, it is recommended that the report be in PDF format prior to printing. If you need control over the formatting of the report data, e.g., column width, sorting or filtering data, etc., it is recommended that you export your report to Microsoft Excel. See Exporting My Report to Microsoft Excel.
The steps you take to print your reports is largely based on how you prefer to view your reports within ReportNet. If you prefer to view your reports in HTML, printing will be simplified if you re-run the report to display it in PDF format before printing.
If you prefer to view your reports in PDF, obviously, your report will already be in PDF format and you can just print.
To re-run and print a report that is currently displayed in HTML format:
Click the View In PDF Format button near the upper, right-hand corner of your report.
Your report will re-run and be displayed in Adobe Reader within your browser.
Click the Adobe Reader Print button.
The Adobe Reader Print dialog box appears.
Change the print properties and print parameters as needed. Click OK to print your report.
Note: A Report View created in HTML format cannot be converted to PDF. You must re-run the report by clicking the Run with options button.
Printing a report that is already in PDF format:
Your report will already be displayed in Adobe Reader. It will not need to be re-run.
Click the Adobe Reader Print button.
The Adobe Reader Print dialog box appears.
Change the print properties and parameters as needed and print your report.
If you routinely print the reports you run, you may want to consider changing your default report display format. To change the default format of your reports, click this link, How do I change the default format of my report results?
